We’ve written about Hulu.com and TV.com multiple times here at Digital Meld and we like and use both services. I am an avid fan of Hulu especially and turn to the site 5-10 times a week to watch various shows, including my beloved Arrested Development when I need a laugh.
Last month we wrote about TV.com’s relaunch and how they are looking to challenge Hulu’s success by also posting high quality videos from the CBS family of networks along side those from Hulu.com that they were already embedding and streaming.
Well, it seems hat Hulu.com has pulled the plug on TV.com’s embedding of Hulu videos. I’ve done quite a bit of searching on various NBC and Fox shows that I watch online and can’t seem to find any video from Hulu.com that are still streamable from TV.com.
It is a smart move from the folks at Hulu, why give CBS and TV.com free traffic on NBC and Fox shows? It’ll be interesting to see how TV.com answers and any negative feedback that Hulu.com may receive over the change.

Speaking of arrested development – I love that Hulu has sooo much content that I want to watch. Too bad for tv.com to lose it. Hulu is at the point where I feel like I no longer need my netflix subscription or cable. And I love their convenient google viewer: http://gingagadgets.com/hulu/
