WM Experts mentioned yesterday that a release of Firefox Mobile may be hitting the HTC Touch Pro as soon as next week. Firefox ‘Fennec‘ was released in alpha 2 late last year for Nokia Symbian devices and this would be first release of Firefox’s mobile browser for a Windows Mobile device.
I am the proud owner of Sprint’s HTC Touch Pro while fellow editor Arnold Castro owns Verizon’s version so once we get our hands on it we’ll give a review. Fennec has some big shoes to fill however as the HTC Touch Pro comes pre-loaded with Opera Mobile which is a fantastic browser… I even like it more than Mobile Safari on the iPhone.
It should also be noted that SkyFire is also in beta… but it underwhelms in our opinion.
