Everything Old is New Again; V is back

TV

ABC is leading the way in networks with no originality (outside of LOST). The broadcast behemoth owned by Disney has signed a deal and ordered a pilot for a remake of the 1980’s science-fiction miniseries ‘V’.

In V the Earth is taken over by Aliens known as the visitors. At first these visitors seem friendly but over time they reveal themselves to be the bastards we assume all alien life forms to be (excluding of course E.T. and Martian Manhunter).

The new ‘V’ will have the ever popular twist of Homeland Security agents and will be written by Scott Peters who is best known for the underrated ‘4400’ and ‘The Outer Limits’. Here’s hoping Marc Singer, aka Beastmaster, makes a return visit to ‘V’.
