Obama Launching Recovery.gov

Online, Online Websites

I’ll give President Obama and his team one thing; when they say they are going to bring the information to the masses they really deliver. We’ve written recently about the new WhiteHouse.gov and how Obama is bringing the information to the interwebs and now it seems he has another trick up his sleeve with Recovery.gov.

The message on the temporary splash-page states "After the passage of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act" an "oversight board will routinely update" the site to make sure there isn’t any "waste, inefficiency, and unnecessary spending." Sounds like a great freaking idea to me. There isn’t a set date for when the site will officially launch but we’re sure it’ll be soon after Obama signs the bill into law.
