Well, not really… Trent Reznor, the mastermind of Nine Inch Nails has given a giant gift to his fans all over the world, and when we say giant we mean giant. As a “gift” to Nine Inch Nails fans and because of a failed attempt to make a 3D Version of the Lights in the Sky Tour (with James Cameron no less) Reznor and company have unloaded three BitTorrent files worth a staggering 400GB of raw HD video footage.
The collection of raw HD footage is split up between three tour dates including Victoria, BC, Portland, OR and Sacramento, CA. Trent Reznor, in an unprecedented move has just put the fate of an entire tour DVD in the hands of his fans thanks to his past greedy record label (Interscope). You can keep track of the coming fan DVD via the fan created website thisoneisonus.org or at the official blog post. Comcast and other ISPs are sure to hate this move… but fans and techno-geeks will rejoice.
